How will my child learn with PlusTutor.com?

PlusTutor.com is easy to use. Your child will have voice interaction with a tutor just like a telephone. This allows your child to speak 1 on 1 with each private tutor through internet. Child can ask any homework questions with our online Shared whiteboard which allows your child to write and Draw specific homework questions related to MATH and other subjects. Instant chat by using our instant message box which resides right along side of the whiteboard. This is a totally separate secured chat room not associated with any other website and can only be used in session.

How it benefit my children?

Tutoring by PlusTutors have proven to be effective and fast as compare to other online Tutors and home Tutors. A child growth will be proven with his/her higher grades in School.

Who works with my child?

All tutors are qualified to help your child from Grade 3-12. No answers are given for ease, but instead your child will be forced to think and discover the answers for themselves. Your child will learn how to use step by step processing so they learn to answer questions for themselves. Instead of getting quick answers, your child will understand their school work because our tutors will not give out answers. This way will set the tone for your child's long term success in life.

For what grade levels are the tutoring available?

We currently Tutor to children from grades 3 to 12.

When is the Tutoring service available?

Your child can receive homework help everyday as per schedule with the Tutor. Your child will log on and get live tutoring. They can ask as many questions as needed to ensure they don't get left behind in any of their classes.

How do you intend to do this?

We will first assess child's strengths and weaknesses by  conducting an initial test and subsequent periodic tests. We will evaluation the results, and will create a personalized curriculum that will strengthen the areas that need improvement. Parents will see the results and improvement in the child's academic growth.

How is the progress of a child monitored?

A detailed report is prepared after initial assessment and subsequent tests which will be available to parents at their requests.

What type of computer do I need to use the Tutoring help service?

We recommend that you have at least a DSL/Cable and 128Mb of RAM. Speakers will allow your child to hear the tutor speak and a microphone will allow your child to speak to their tutor.
